The real estate market continues to be a sellers market for most of the tri-region. Acreage sales have dropped a bit in July. Over all we normally see a bit of a slow down over the summer months but August seems to be picking back up so far.

In Stony Plain we saw a 4.09% increase in sales in 2020 compared to 2019. The average days on market had decreased and the average sale price increased by 8.9%.
In Spruce Grove we saw a 14.8% increase in sales, the average days on market also was less and the average selling price decreased by 0.5%.
In the County of Parkland we saw a 36.3% increase...
Sales were up in all 3 municipalities of the Tri-Region compared to Oct 2019. The days on market were lower, the inventory is down and average selling price has gone up!!
This is amazing news for the middle of a global pandemic. I think this is due to the low interest rates at the bank, if you’re thinking to buyer or sell now is the time!!
